PROVIDENCE – On June 10, 2024, the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island held its 13th annual meeting in the Baxt Social Hall at the Dwares Jewish Community Center.
Community members gathered to celebrate the year's accomplishments, recognize leadership and recognize those who were finishing their service.
Rabbi Howard Voss-Altman, of Temple Habonim in Barrington, gave a D'var Torah that recognized the situation in Israel.
Adam Greenman reflected on the Bar Mitzvah year for the organization that brought together the Jewish Federation of Greater RI, the Jewish Community Center and the Bureau of Jewish Education as one unit.
